As examples for Zines and Minibooks when I released that badge set over December 2018 and January 2019, I did a short series of zines called “Unbored.”
Each issue focused on things kids could do at home during break or summer vacation.
To help parents and caregivers who suddenly have kids at home with no idea what to do with them (beyond schoolwork), I’m sending them out again. In addition to the original five issues, I have three more written out and I’ve brainstormed many more.
I’ll be releasing them at 9 am every day starting today, March 20th, until I run out of issues. So at the least, you’ll get the following five:
- Unbored 01: Indoor Builder
- Unbored 02: Make Games
- Unbored 03: Solo Endeavors
- Unbored 04: Family Trivia
- Unbored 05: Simple Ornaments
Click HERE for the first issue.
This is a 16-page zine. In case you haven’t assembled one before, here’s the information on how it is laid out > HERE.
Please forward this to anyone who might benefit from these zines.
