Originally, I was going to be updating the Fairies badge set starting in June.
Due to COVID-19, I’m revising the schedule a bit. I’ve been looking for things you can do at home with your kids. I’ll spend a couple weeks with some completely new badges and then I’ll be back to fairies.
This week, “Gluebooks” will be released. You can craft with a book, magazine images, scissors and glue. It’s a simple craft that you can dig into. Looking for more simple crafts you can do with your kids? Check out the the badge sets for Artist Trading Cards, Color Fun, SWAPs and Zendoodle. In addition, there are simple badges for bracelets, charms and puppets. Just search the archives!
Next up, I have outlined a badge program for “Virtual Tour Explorer.” There are so many museums, historic sites and more that are offering these that it seemed a shame to miss it. I was already planning on doing a set, but this will get you thinking about it.
Lastly, earning badges can be done here at the Enrichment Project or elsewhere. I’m going to do an overview of where you can go with your kids to explore even more! This allows you to focus on what your kids want to do and see what you can learn first so you can present it to them. Your kids will be amazed at how much you know! (We won’t tell them you learned it in a badge program first.)
Please stay safe.
