Search your stash or sales to find cheap fabric. Just be sure if it comes apart, you use some glue on the edges to keep the fabric from unraveling.
Tools:
- Scissors
- Needle
Materials:
- Fabric
- Fun foam or felt squares
- Thread
- Safety pin
Steps:
Squares — Cut out squares from the fabric, two for each SWAP. For filling, cut a slightly smaller square (1/4″ all edges) from felt or fun foam.
Filling — Place a fabric square with the patterned side down. Put a fun foam or felt square down and then the second fabric square. When you flip it over, both sides should have the outside of the fabric showing.
Stitch — Using a needle and thread, stitch all four edges to hold it together and tie off.
NOTE: Use a non-water soluble glue on edges to make sure it doesn’t unravel if you are worried.
Add pin — Put safety pin through edge.
