Paper dolls used to be a feature in the McCall’s magazine. You can find them online. Print, cut apart and play.
What could be simpler?
Tools:
- Computer and printer
- Scissors
Materials:
- Paper
- Chipboard
- Glue
Steps:
Download and print — Visit tpettit.best.vwh.net/dolls/pd_scans/betsy_mccall
and download the files you’d like to use. Print to high quality paper.
Doll — Roughly cut apart the doll from the outfit. To make the doll sturdier, you can glue the doll to chipboard and cut out. For a standing paper doll, see the image of a stand you can create to place on the bottom of the doll.
NOTE: You can also attach the paper doll and outfits to magnets to make it work on a refrigerator.
Trim — Trim around all edges. Be sure not to cut off the tabs.
Play.
