NOTE: In 2017, Grab ‘N’ Go sheets were incorporated into the Enrichment Project Badge Programs as supplements.
After doing opening activities for two council events in three weeks, I came across a format for presenting the activities that I really liked . . . and Grab ‘N’ Go was born.
What is Grab ‘N’ Go?
Grab ‘N’ Go is a series of printables that you can grab, print out and use for a single activity, craft or game. Each sheet is a black and white PDF so you can print it on any printer. It has an intro area which gives a brief explanation of the activity. Then, on the right, there is a list of materials and tools you’ll need followed by the directions.
Occasionally, you’ll get a second sheet with additional information, but I’m trying to keep these to a single page to make it easier for you.
Why Grab ‘N’ Go?
I’m a big planner. I like having everything written out, tested and ready to go before I present it.
Sometimes we don’t have time to plan out a meeting or event. Grab ‘N’ Go sheets give a variety of activities that you can mix and match to go with your theme, badge program or event. You provide a minimum amount of time for a successful activity.
How does Grab ‘N’ Go work?
Download the activities you’re interested in. When you’re ready to use one, gather the items on the list and create a sample. By creating a sample, you’ll get the experience of doing it. You can skip the sample, but I’ve found that it helps me to connect and explain better when I present it.
Can I get Grab ‘N’ Go sheets?
Grab ‘N’ Go sheets will be released on weeks alternating Adult Enrichment Project badges. If I start creating them faster than I post, some may be offered for sale. We’ll see how it goes.
