Grab ‘n’ Go: Pick Up Sticks

You can purchase or make your own sticks. This game is very easy to transport. It is a great quiet game for a
small group.

Read the rules and decide if you want to have points per sticks and only paint those specific ones or if you’d prefer to have a lot of sticks and one point per stick.

Tools:

• Sticks: 30 — Black (1), Red (7), Blue (7), Green (8),
• Yellow (7)
• OR
• 20-50 sticks of varying colors

Steps:

Into play — Hold sticks vertically on a flat surface. Allow them to fall.

Order — Determine who will start and what order the players will play.

Play — The first person picks up a stick. If a stick other than the one they are attempting to pick up moves, their turn is over. As long as the sticks do not move, they continue to pick them up.

Points — When the pile is gone, you either total the points if playing with the sticks equaling points as follows:

• Black — 25 points
• Red — 10 points
• Blue — 5 points
• Green — 2 points
• Yellow — 1 point

Or you count each stick as one point.

First person to 200 points wins.
