Got Badge!
End of the Industrial Revolution
The world the industrial revolution built is crumbling.
You are doing a disservice to yourself and your kids by not learning something new — by not helping them find what they are passionate about.
The largest group of entrepreneurs are in the 18-24 age range.
The good news is it’s not too late — for them or you.
Special Day
My youngest becomes a teenager today. It makes today a special day for our family.
However, every day is special. It doesn’t matter if you have a birthday, holiday or anything else happening.
If you wake up, it’s a special day. If you can make a difference, no matter how small, it’s a special day.
Each day is an opportunity to do more . . . to be more.
It’s your choice.
You can choose to be upset and negative, stagnating in your life. Or you can choose to make this day an opportunity — a special day.
First Limited Time Badge!
Most of our badge programs are designed to hang around so you can work on them when you want.
For 2012, we will have our first limited time badge — Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary!
Earning this badge is completely dependent on how you participate in the anniversary celebrations.
Check out the requirements here . . . http://www.scribd.com/doc/71095688.
Remember, this is will only be available during 2012.
Scribd is up!
The full first set of files is on Scribd. A few are on Yahoo! Groups. I’ll get the supplements finished there and then Google Documents.
I have 14 files that are ready for the second set so far. I’ll keep you posted as they are uploaded.
This weekend, I’ll be updating the category pages here and the full links set at Squidoo.
For now, you should have enough to explore Girl Scout Traditions.
Back and ready to go!
If you thought I vanished, I did.
My main computer crashed while downloading email and it was not something I could completely fix. I’m thinking that the age of the computer was part of the problem. The oldest part was the hard drives (about 10 years old), the newest was the case (over 6 years).
My brother helped me and I now have a newer computer (2 years old). It went up last night. While I don’t have all the software installed and everything working the way I want it, I have enough to start communicating again.
I’m ready for a really great week!
I believe . . .
anyone can learn and better themselves through non-tradition means. You need the motivation and to find the way that works best for you.
The only thing holding you back from your full potential is you.
