What can be simpler than placing an image into a bottle cap?
Make an image a bit larger than 1″ diameter to use in your bottle cap. Use a 1″ circle punch to cut out the image you want. Then add a cover material to seal the image in place.
You can adapt this for charms, pendants, ornaments, SWAPs, fridgies and thumbtacks.
Tools:
- 1″ circle paper punch
- Scissors
Materials:
- Bottle cap
- Printed images, gift wrap, etc.
- Glue
- Sealant
Steps:
Image — Cut or punch out your image.
Option — For hanging items, punch a hole in the edge of the bottle cap to
attach an o-ring later.
Attach — Glue the image into your bottle cap. Cover with sealant / glaze. Allow to dry thoroughly.
Back — For fridgies, attach a magnet. For thumbtacks, attach a flat one.
Option — You can add items into your glaze such as glitter or rhinestones for extra bling.
