Grab ‘n’ Go: Aliens

Welcome to our first Grab ‘N’ Go!

The aliens were an activity station at LEAP (Leader Enrichment Adult Program) this year as well as a Halloween activity for my Girl Scout Daisies. This craft can be used for a SWAP, attachment to a card, included in a mixed media piece or just traded. We made green aliens, but you could use any color for your base.

Tools:

• Paint brushes / sponges
• Glass with water (cleaning brushes)

Materials:

• Recycled puzzle pieces
• Paint
• Markers
• Wiggle eyes
• Glue

Steps:

Paint — Paint your puzzle piece in your favorite color. In the samples, we used green. Allow to dry.

Eyes — Add wiggle eyes. Aliens can have one or lots of eyeballs.

Features — Using markers, add other special alien feature.

Tip: If you have limited time, paint the back of the puzzle pieces. The uncoated surface absorbs the paint to make drying time much faster.
